UP VALLEY

Greatly enjoyed the interesting variety of scenery on a drive up the valley to Rumsey. Followed along Cache Creek, the stream which runs through the valley as it narrows between two ridges. Popular with primitive campers and white water rafters, the area is largely unspoiled. Its alternating serenity and ruggedness create astonishing scenes of beautiful contrasts. I'm not the only one who likes it here...
