WINE & FOOD TASTING (sacramento)

Went to a very nice wine & food tasting event at Quail Run Gardens, a beautiful 16 acre estate in Sacramento which is the home of Joe & Shirley Mohamed. They allow various charities to use their grounds for fundraising events at which the admission fees go to the charity, in this case The Sacramento Asian Sports Foundation. www.sasfquest.org Tom & Pam attend and participate in many such events in a 200 mile radius to get the word out about their wines. So I walked around in this beautiful setting, drank & ate a bit too much as I sampled everything from smoked beef to sushi. Very enjoyable evening.
On the way to Sacramento, was impressed by the green colour of the rice fields along the highway seen in the first picture.
