LAKE TAHOE

Really enjoyed my visit to Lake Tahoe--22 miles long and 12 miles wide, more than 70 miles of shoreline. It's the second deepest lake in the U.S. with an average depth of 1,000 feet and incredibly clear water (visibility up to 100 feet). http://www.tahoevacationguide.com/laketahoe.html
