TOP TO BOTTOM

Great ending to another great day in SF.

Then up to twin peaks. From there down to Mission Street, the Barrio area. Very colorful. Had Mexican Dinner, carne asada.

Then down to opposite--Haight Ashbury area where 40 years ago I saw the cultural revolution happening. Hippies, etc. Great people and culture watching.

.

Then walked a lot, taking in scenery & especially neighborhood touring. Walked to Union Street, cruised the upscale boutiques. Then up to Green Street & Broadway Street looking at homes which all have fantastic views of SF Bay & GG Bridge. Area is known as Pacific Heights.

See also: http://www.pelicanmedia.org/Film.html for interesting stuff on Parrots of Telegraph Hill.

Then hiked up to telegraph hill and Coit Tower.

From Pacific Heights to the Mission district and everything in between. Socially, financially, and geographically .

Went to Ferry Building and old port terminals at base of the city that have been redone. Ferry building is mostly devoted to food. Capay Valley has a store there--did a wonderful job.
