R.I.P. 1923 - 2014

  Today,Thursday March 20, my mother died peacefully at 7:35 AM in her 91st year.  For the last five years I've had the privilege of having her in my home which I hope was a comfort to her as well.

  Though she experienced many hardships in her life, she forever put everybody else's needs before hers.  She took every opportunity to show others kindness and sought ways to help wherever she could. 
Her many generous acts  were done quietly and without acknowledgement.

    It is significant to me that today, the first day of spring, her winter has also passed.
