BIGGEST little CITY
While in Reno for the Air Races, enjoyed a visit to The National Automobile Museum which displays the collection of Bill Harrah, hotelier and casino owner, who assembled over 4,000 classic cars before his death in 1978. His empires were sold to Holiday Corporation who began selling the collection piece at a time to private collectors. To prevent the dissolution of the collection, Nevada residents stepped up to establish the National Automobile Museum. The museum has been compared to a "walk through history" because the cars are displayed in period-appropriate settings. Certainly worth a visit. For more see: www.automuseum.org.
